National Chin-Yi University of Technology (NCUT) and Czech College of Polytechnics Jihlava (VSPJ) signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoU). NCUT President Chen, Wen-uan and Jihlava Institute of Technology President Prof. Zdenek Horak signed the contract on behalf of both parties. In the future, the two schools will conduct teacher-student exchange visits, teacher exchanges, and laboratory cooperation, which are expected to begin this year.
The Governor of Vysokina Province in the Czech Republic, Schrek, said that Jihlava Polytechnic is an excellent school in Vysokina Province. The signing of the MoU also means that more students will become important international talents through exchanges between the two schools. Martina, the deputy representative of the Czech Economic and Cultural Office, said that through exchanges in art, culture, and education, the relationship between the two countries will become closer and more stable.
NCUT President Chen, Wen-Yuan said that through the cooperation project, more academic and cultural experiences will be provided for teachers and students, bringing new impetus to the development of the two universities. He hopes to cultivate international-level practical technical talents for both countries and jointly create a better future for higher education in the New Era.
VSPJ has student exchange programs with more than 250 universities around the world. It is the first time it has expanded to Taiwan. It chose NCUT as a partner because of its characteristics in science and engineering and its rise in international university rankings.
